Is There a Bigfoot and the UFO Connection?

I don't get a lot of fan mail about Bigfoot but when I do it's always interesting reading. I can't even count how many times I hear from people who think there's a connection between Bigfoot sightings and UFO sightings. I usually scratch my head with one of those, "Say what?!?"

I'm assuming the people who believe in the connection are quite often Star Wars fans too. which makes me wonder if it isn't just wishful thinking that Bigfoot might be similar to Chewbacca, the Wookie character and loyal sidekick to Han Solo. Haven't we all wanted a tall hairy friend who wears a belt of bullets across his chest? Well maybe that's just my own wishful thinking but there's a heck of a lot of Bigfoot researchers who claim there's a UFO connection to these elusive bipeds in our forests.

I get emails with common descriptions suchs as:

• Orbs or discs floating in the forest.
• Strange flashing lights, hovering the sky.
• Red or blue lights flashing in the woods, possibly eyeshine from Bigfoot. Is it related to orbs floating?
• Bigfoots that can vanish behind trees.

Here are actual quotes from blogs and listserves about the Bigfoot and UFO connection:

"There was guy on George Noory last week discussing this.Apparently, this is a favorite topic of George's. Maybe UFO's are studying/abducting Bigfoots?"

"Only recently have I heard this? Could Bigfoot be a dimesional being? What are your thoughts?"

Even Lan Lamphere the DJ from Overnight AM radio claims that as child he had a Bigfoot sighting and the beast vaporized before his eyes. Lamphere claims there's a team from the History Channel recording vanishing Bigfoots (an entire family of them) in some guy's backyard (my research says there are not vanishing Bigfoots in his yard), somewhere in the U.S. Read the book about backyard Bigfoots at Amazon.

What should I make of the Bigfoot UFO connection? The theory seems fuzzy to me and it might have more to do with people's frustration with Bigfoot being so stealthy. How can it travel through the forests unnoticed or seemingly vanish out of view of a camera? Can Bigfoot vaporize into another dimension as Lamphere thinks they can? Were they dropped off on earth eons ago and have the ability to do time or space travel?

That's the stuff of science fiction, my friends not anthropology or cryptozoology. I get dozens of photos of bigfoot sightings each week but for all the claims of UFOs there's never a photo of a UFO with Bigfoot. Not a single one...so far. Until I see a hovering orb beside a Bigfoot I won't believe in the connection as anything more than one's imagination. Of course, I once felt that way about Bigfoot too and I eventually changed my mind and became a believer. If anybody has good photos, I'd love to see them!

In answering a loaded, and backhanded question, even though I may appear a fool in doing so - as one may believe if something happens to them - so you may believe if ENOUGH people say something happens to them. As just one who gets Alien visitations, and examinations and operations and trips for free from them, "Bigfoot" has been a sometime associate. When I was perhaps seven, a craft landed in my next door neighbors back yard in the middle of the night and two Bigfeet came up to my bedroom window. Damning myself because I didn't have a camera, I yet couldn't help notice how much smaller the craft was than the Bigfeet. Bigfeet were around a craft that was parked in a meadow that my parents drove off the road to one night, not that we've ever talked about that time. The Bigfeet were in a line underneath the trees, and their eyes were glowing red. Everyone else in the car were so scared they fainted. A beam of light shimmered towards our car and then we were suddenly inside something like a hanger, dark but with dim lighting along the edges where the wall met the floor. I was in the right rear passenger seat, and a Bigfoot walked up the window and bent its face down and opened its mouth like it was screaming. Its opened mouth from top to bottom was about the exact size of that back passenger side window. I agree with George Noory's theory that the Bigfeet are "chosen" as humans are. There is yet a "stand-alone" Bigfoot phenomenon in my life. I'm 50 years old now, and as recently as this past Spring, while hiking through a few square mile community forest with my family in SE MA, we all heard what sounded like a large branch breaking and a fairly tall tree shake about 30 yards in the direction we were walking. My 9 year old niece was about 10 yards ahead of everyone else on the trail, and came running back saying someone was on the path. She went on to say that what seemed like a tall person with hair was up ahead on the path, saw her, turned around and pulled on a branch and ran away. She was crying and afraid to lead anymore. About 5 minutes before that her father said to me that he was amazed that there was no animal life present during this part of our hike, no birds, squirrel, rabbits - nothing. Her parents said it must have been a deer and she agreed. In two other circumstances here in MO, each with different middle-aged people, something large "screamed" at us from woods that we happened to be close by at the time. Both people said they'd never heard anything like those sounds before in their lives. Once in a great while I have strange dreams where I'm communicating with Bigfeet to some extent. Anyway, here's some thought for food to digest regarding Alien and Bigfoot associations :)

For many thousands of years there has been the question, if we are alone in the universe. I think that there is enough evidence to probe that in fact even before our recorded history beings walked in this earth, many evidence show artifacts going back millions of years BC.
